Zebrawood
Zebrawood or Zebrano is an exotic wood native to Western African countries. It as a quarter sawn hardwood with a smooth to medium texture. Zebrawood has a golden- yellow base or heartwood with a dark black-brown veining which gives it the heavily striped color hence, a zebra-like appearance. Zebrawood is desired for this distinct pattern and is used in more contemporary designs of kitchen cabinets. Zebrawood lightens slightly over time and when exposed to sunlight.
