Sandy is a detail-oriented and creative professional with over seven years of experience in plumbing, tile work, and quartz countertop installation. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design and is currently building her portfolio to pursue certification through the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). Sandy has a strong interest in designing small spaces and enjoys finding smart, efficient solutions to make them both stylish and functional.
In her current role at Gilmans, she supports San Rafael’s showroom designer with project paperwork, countertop selection, and obtaining quotes for quartz surfaces. She also assists with selecting and ordering hardware and plumbing fixtures, tracking deliveries, and communicating with customers throughout the design process. Sandy helps manage warranty orders and color matching, playing a key part in keeping projects organized and moving forward smoothly.
Outside of work, she enjoys refurbishing furniture, tackling home DIY projects, and baking homemade treats for her boyfriend’s firehouse team. She also takes her role as a dog mom seriously, making time for long walks, play sessions, and plenty of belly rubs. Sandy is currently learning Portuguese and enjoys taking on new challenges. Whether she’s styling a room or creating something from scratch, she brings passion, precision, and genuine care to everything she does.
