In addition, Gilmans also offers screen window and door services, as well as handyman services.
DESIGN COORDINATION
Larry had previous experience working with general contractors who were working on remodeling homes throughout San Francisco. He felt that he could provide a valuable service by offering kitchen and bathroom cabinets to the same contractors that were purchasing screens from him. It would save the contractors time, provide convenience, and ultimately establish Gilmans as a one-stop shop for multiple services.
As word spread, Larry soon realized the need for a larger space to display the various cabinets and more specialized services. He moved the store to its current 5000 sq. ft. location on Bayshore Blvd. and hired qualified kitchen designers to further assist contractors and homeowners with their kitchen and bathroom remodels. Gilmans Screens was now officially Gilmans Screens and Kitchens.
Gilmans stills stays true to its origins by providing window and door screen services, but by offering full-service remodeling services, semi-custom and full custom design builds, and additional services, we have established ourselves as a trusted design build firm in the Bay Area.
CRAFTSMEN AND CREW
The Design Build team has an in-house crew of skilled laborers, craftsmen and carpenters. At Gilmans, we value working with quality and consistency. By keeping things in-house, we are able to assure the utmost quality in our installation and craftsmanship.
Other Ways to Work with Design Build:
Install Only – Are you already working with a contractor? Gilmans can still help by handling the installation of the cabinets. Your contractor will be responsible for all other aspects of the project, but as we know our products best, we would install our cabinets into your space.
